Custom avatars don't showed up in forum after upgrading to vb 5.1.9

    Hi,

recently I've upgraded from 4.2.2 to vb 5.1.9 and after upgrading the users custom avatars don't showed up in the forums or in the members page. All the users are pointing to default avatar image core/images/default/default_avatar_large.png
However, if I look up a user in admincp I can see the custom avatar there.

I run admincp > Maintenance > General Update Tools > Rebuild Custom Avatars several times but without success.

    ¿What can I chek?

    Thanks for your help

If I upload a new avatar image through a user's profile it is uploaded correctly to customavatars directory in the server, but it still does not appear in the user's profile. It is always pointing to default avatar image.

i checked that it is enabled under settings -> User image options -> enabled avatars

Are avatars stored in the database or the file system?

The avatar images are stores in the file system.

Try to store to database then back to file system.

Thanks fro your response, I tried that and when I was moving them back to the file system the following messages appeared for each avatar image:

            Code:

BTW, I don't know if it is related, surely not, but Why I cannot set my profile image in this forum? It is the same behavior that I am facing in my forum when I try to set a new custom avatar. May be I I have misunderstood something.

It looks like there'san imagemagick issue. Is it properly installed on the server? Can you try GD instead?

I've tried GD and I've got these errors when switching back images to filesystem:

                  Code:
