After upgrade to VB5, issues with install directory

When i upgrade to VB5, i choose to install VB5 in public_html/vb5. Vb4 is installed at public_html directory. After upgrade only way to access VB5 is by going to www.domainname.com/vb5. How do i make it so when user goes to www.domainname.com, the Vb5 will show. I dont want /vb5 in url.

I think you would need to move the VB5 installation to public_html. Do you have both vb4 and vb5 installations using the same domain? If not, you need to direct your second domain to the vb5 folder where the installation is installed to become its root.

The only option I can think of is to use a rewrite to name the vb5 part of the url. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...using-htaccess
