bad characters in username column in the users table

I am using VB5.1.9 with Arabic language (RTL)
after user signup his name stored in the database with strange characters like this : نادية insisted of this : أحمد

Please don't bump threads until at least 48 hours have passed. Support is not "real time" and you've bumped it less than four hours after posting it. All this does is delay replies, since we generally respond to requests with the oldest "last reply" first.

Is this installation a fresh install that started on vB5, or is it an upgrade from vB3 or vB4?
