Facebook Publish Problem

I know this has been thrashed to death, but, is Facebook meant to work on VB 5.1.8?
PHP = 5.4.37

I followed Joe D's instructions and have entered the Client OAuth info as well

I have enabled the settings and inserted the app id and secret question etc, the app shows all green ticks, but, i do not even see an option to publish to Facebook from any post on my forum:-

When posting a new topic, there should be a checkbox to publish that to your wall. There is no other method to publish content in vBulletin 5.X.

The publish to facebook is not shown, see screenshots, i brushed out the app id and secret details

I am logged into my Facebook account on a separate tab, i can connect via my VB4 forums and see the connect icon on the top of the home page and share and publish.
But, with VB 5 i cannot see anything that allows me to connect via the Facebook app, no connect, no publish etc

So, i kinda figured it out, by logging in to the forum via the facebook icon instead of as the normal forum log in area, this now shares to my wall, but, it would be better if i could share directly to other groups and pages.
I can share from my wall, but it would be nicer to do it from the forum post

Unfortunately, we've never supported sharing to groups and pages. A limitation of our implementation.
