The background for the body? Add this to the CSS in your css_additional.css template:
Code:body { background-attachment: fixed; }

It should work with iOS. However, the interface and content area pretty much covers the background since it takes up 100% of the space on iPhones. iPads should work the same as the desktop site when the iPad is in Landscape mode.Translations provided by Google.

This method uses standard CSS and should work in all modern browsers. This includes Safari. If it does not, then the browser needs to be upgraded or the browser manufacturer needs to add support.
Looking at the available support for background-attachment, it appears that Safari has partial support as of Safari 14 but it is bugged and doesn't work. . These were released last year in 2020. If you are using an older version then it will not be "supported" at all.Translations provided by Google.
