With 5.1.7 - ImageMagick versus GD - which works best?

At vbulletin Settings, Option, Image Settings you have the option to choose GD versus ImageMagicK.

With vbulletin 5.1.7 do most people use GD, the default? Is ImageMagicK better, if so, why? Is one more suited to viewing on mobile devices?

In general ImageMagick works the best industry wide. However there are no functional differences between the two as far as vBulletin is concerned. We don't do image manipulation outside of resizing the image so the process is fairly similar to both of them.

Neither is relevant to viewing images on mobile devices. We don't do manipulations "on the fly".
