Hmm... I didn't have any problems installing a test site on GoDaddy. Are you on the Deluxe account?

You need at least the Deluxe account at the above address. You should also choose Linux as your OS as their Windows servers have problems. Resource level 1 or the basic package will work as it is a decent amount of RAM and CPU Cycles. Resource Level 2 is better.

The default PHP should be 5.4 as far as I am aware. This should work fine. I switched it to PHP 5.5 after installation.

You would have to create your MySQL database and assign a user before installation.

These are how the PHP Options are set on my account: [TABLE="width: 100%, height: 20"]

          allow_url_fopen- On
          display_errors- Off
          error_reporting- E_ALL
          file_uploads- On
          include_path- .:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/php
          log_errors- On
          mail.force_extra_parameters- no value
          max_execution_time- 30
          max_input_time- -1
          memory_limit- 128M
          open_basedir- no value
          post_max_size- 8M
          session.save_path- /tmp
          short_open_tag- On
          upload_max_filesize- 2M

Those should be fine. May just have to try to run the installer again. If it sticks, refresh the page.

I just ran the Vbulletin test script and it passed, so it's weird that the install stalls out.

If you install stalls during the template groups, you can try switching to the upgrade.php script and see if it will finish for you.

Thank you Wayne and Lynne, The upgrade.php finshed the job. I tried one last time before I goto the V.A. for surgery and this will give me something to do in my days of recovery.
