sitemaps errors

Please solve this permanent problem since upgrading from vb 4 to vb 5.

Google indicate errors in all sitemaps. My index before upgrade was more than million and now only 287 pages indexed.

There is significant improvement in the search engine after fixing the sitemap problem.
