Search not excluding Visitor Messages

I have this "New Posts" button with the following search:
search?searchJSON=%7B%22last%22:%7B%22from%22:%227%22},%22type%22:[%22vBForum_Poll%22,%22vBForum_Text%22],%22view%22:%22topic%22,%22starter_only%22:1,%22sort%22:%7B%22lastcontent%22:%22desc%22},% 22exclude_type%22:[%22vBForum_PrivateMessage%22,%22vBForum_VisitorMessage%22,%22vBForum_Report%22,%22vBForum_ Redirect%22]}

Even though I've excluded "vBForum_VisitorMessage", they still come up in the search results. Did I miss something?

Lord help me, I have the same problem and the lack of work around is terrible. Anyone figure out something until VB can fix this 2 years from now?
