    Problems posting HTML

I have been having a heck of a time posting HTML. I am logged in as admin and have checked all of my permissions and have them set to "all" specifically the HTML bubbles. Still every time I attempt to post a new topic in HTML, the coding displays.

Here is the specific example, I will be deleting it later today.

Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated. I have ran into this issue before, it seems to keep coming up.... please advise?

Check you have allow BBcode set to yes in the channel manager for each forum. This option I believe sometimes defaults to "no", and it seems to be necessary to enable html posting to work.

Hmmmmm..... No Dice! I made sure that BB code is allowed in every section. Still puzzled. :/ Any other ideas?

This is troubling because most of my posting will be done in HTML, at least the first few topics in each thread.

If you create a brand new forum as a test, with BBCode and HTML allowed, does it work in there?

Negatron! I created a "TEST" forum with BBcode enabled and permission edited to allow HTML under the admin user, but no dice! This one is really perplexing! I need some help here, this is a serious issue as I am not able to make any posts. I even logged in as another "registered user" that I created to see if they could post, but I had the same issue there. The strange thing is a friend of mine who I asked to write an article made a post this weekend in HTML and had no issues. He is also a "registered user". I have checked all of the permissions and nearly all users have BBcoding allowed and "can post HTML". Could this issue be ip related since it seems I am the only one having problems. Can you make a post somewhere to test it? http://www.loanforum.org/forum

Here is the HTML that I have been trying to post to a topic. Its pretty standard. Let me know what you think?

                "<p>What is a <a href="http://www.loanforum.org/forum/refinancing">refinance</a>?</p>

<p>For borrowers and homeowners with an existing mortgage loan, you may be able to qualify for a mortgage loan refinance. A refinance is an option that takes your existing mortgage and pays it off, resulting in a new mortgage with new terms, interest rates and monthly payments. This new loan will replace your current mortgage and may lower your interest and payments, which could improve your financial position. </p>

<p><a href="http://www.loanforum.org/forum/refinancing">Refinancing</a> may be a great option for homeowners and borrowers alike. In order to be considered, you do have to meet a specific set of guidelines that are dependent on your current loan and financial position; as well as the guidelines of the refinance program which best fits your needs.</p>

                <p><b>If you are:</b></p>

<p>ü Current on your mortgage payments</p>

<p>ü Have an adjustable rate or a high interest rate</p>

<p>ü Have equity in your home (owe less than what the home is worth) </p>

                <p><b>Exceptions:</b></p>

<p>ü If you DO have late payments in the last 6 months you may still be able to qualify through the HARP program</p>

<p>ü If you DON’T have equity or you have negative equity you may still qualify through the HARP program, as well.</p>

                <p>With any of these, a <a href="http://www.loanforum.org/forum/refinancing">refinance</a> may be a good option for you!</p>

<p>With a refinance you have many different options depending on your specific needs, wants and goals. There several programs available for borrowers to allow them to make the best decisions for themselves. </p>

                <p>Refinancing programs available include:</p>

                <p>-<a href="http://www.loanforum.org/forum/harp">HARP</a> (Home Affordable Refinance Program)</p>

                <p>-<a href="http://www.loanforum.org/forum/fha">FHA</a></p>

                <p>-<a href="http://www.loanforum.org/forum/fha">Streamline</a></p>

                <p>-<a href="http://www.loanforum.org/forum/refinancing">Traditional</a></p>

                <p>-<a href="http://www.loanforum.org/forum/va">VA</a></p>

                <p><b>Benefits: </b></p>

<p>If the appropriate conditions are in play, there are definitely benefits to refinancing your current mortgage. One of the major benefits is you can take advantage of the current historic lows with regards to interest rates. By lowering your interest rate, you in turn are lowering your payment and amount of accrued interest over the life of your loan. Additionally, you’re lowering your risk in the market place should interest rates rise again in the future; and they will. </p>

<p>If you have questions about a refinancing or want to know if you may qualify, please make a new thread with your questions. Our goal is to be a resource for you, for all of your mortgage related needs!</p>"

Any particular reason you're posting this simple text in HTML and not using the BBCode with the system?

The little buttons on the menu in the editor? They insert BBCode and help you format your posts without HTML. I figured you were posting something complex like tables with non-static columns or media or iframes.
