What are the most popular mods for VB5?

Are there any risk from having mods on at this stage in the beta? Should I wait?

The few modifications available for vB5 are in Beta stage just as the product itself is in Beta stage. Quite a few developers have decided to wait for the Gold Release to port their modifications to vB5. As vB5 is not recommended for live production sites you should have no need for spam blocking just yet. I would personally recommend that you wait on modifications, although if you wish to see what is available you should head over to vBulletin.org, which is the official modifications site. Going into detail on modifications is discouraged here as modified sites are officially unsupported.

I would suspect that any addon author who has the time, is probably working on addons for vB5, even if they're not being released. vB5 is a pretty big change under the hood.
