Members need to have a signature and have it set to display.
Obviously their usergroup also needs to have signature permissions.

Thanks Mark! Can you explain how to enable the signature for users in admin. I'm not even able to include a signature on my own posts.

AdminCP > Usergroups > usergroup manager > [Edit Usergroup] - Go > Signature Permissions
        Vote for:

        - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
        - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

Also make sure that your Users Settings > Account > Visible Post Elements > Show Signatures is checked. Just below that is the button to click to create your signature. You will see it when hovering over the little pen image.

Signatures show when you hover over the little signature image in the posts or check AdminCP > Settings > Options > Topic Display Options > Post Signature Inline and set it to Yes to show it inline.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

There is no place in the users profile area for them to add a signature for some reason

              Settings > Account tab
Scroll down to "Conversation Detail Options".
              Tick "Show Signatures".
Under that is a link "Edit Post Signature".

For our main admin account that was created w/the install we get:
You are not authorized to execute SQL queries

Do we have to enable this in a config file?

Yes, you need to enable it in the config.php file:

                        Code:
                        [COLOR=#007700][FONT=monospace]    [/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#FF8000][FONT=monospace]//    ****** USERS WITH QUERY RUNNING PERMISSIONS ******
// The users specified here will be allowed to run queries from the control panel.
// See the above entries for more information on the format.
// Please note that the ability to run queries is quite powerful. You may wish
// to remove all user IDs from this list for security reasons.
                        [/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB][FONT=monospace]$config[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#007700][FONT=monospace][[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#DD0000][FONT=monospace]'SpecialUsers'[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#007700][FONT=monospace]][[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#DD0000][FONT=monospace]'canrunqueries'[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#007700][FONT=monospace]] = [/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#DD0000][FONT=monospace]'x'[/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#007700][FONT=monospace];[/FONT][/COLOR]
                        Change x to your userid.

You cannot do that on vBcloud. You can put in a ticket and request that we run that query for you though.
