    Forums layout

    When I attepmt to change the layout of vb5 my forums page I get this error message (You must specify a screen layout. Please go back and correct this problem.)
    when I attempt to change it 70/30 and click on the design from the three choices I want it does not show up in the page below and when I click on save it gives me the error above? is this issue being addressed I could not find anything about it.

    It is currently at 70/30, so what are you trying to change it to?

    If I hit Edit Page > Change Layout > 30/70 > Save Page > OK, I do not get an error on my test site.

      As you can see Its not changing the format to 70\30 and It will not save because its not allowing the selection

      I have duel monitors I forgot to cut the other monitor out of the screen shot.

      Anyone else got a suggestion for this problem...

        Try this while using a totally default style on the site. You also should not have any other installed language on your site as vB5 doesn't currently support them.

          Lynne I figured out the problem the Annoucements I had running at the top of the page were preventing me from changing the layout I deleted the annoucements and I am able to change the layout now...

            I'm glad you figured out the issue.

            Do you know why the announcements were preventing that? Were they using improper html or what?

              No I do not know why, they were just basic with std text, I just know once I delted them that it allowed me to alter the page to suit me
