Is there a way users can simply search for new posts?

The activity stream shows threads...can it be set to show new posts? This is a source of frustration for my users who tend to click the 'whats new" button as opposed to browsing a forum.

Possibly its in the setup and I've missed it... though not for want of trying.

Right now its missing, it should be returning before gold.

The AS can be set to show replies but currently it's a little hit and miss as to what it actually picks up.
Look at the TalkNewsUK link in my sig and click the Activity Stream link in the navbar, you'll see this has replies as well as new topics.
