No Create Topic Button...

I have a similar issue on my new install (www.RulesArena.com/vb5) but I don't see any way to create a post/topic. I've sent the URL to a few friends who also can't see how to make a post. These are set up as forums.

It seems, odd as this sounds, that I have to set up my forums to be categories...then it works.

You haven't created any place to create topics. From your screenshot, you have a lot of categories but no forums. You cannot create topics in Categories. You can only create topics in Forums. Either create forums under your categories or switch some categories to forums.
