Cannot upgrade from vBulletin 4.2.x to 5.1.4

Hi there,

I am trying to upgrade my vBulletin 4 to vBulletin 5 and keep getting stuck on:

Upgrading to 5.1.4
Status: Processing 5.0.0 Alpha 22, Step 1 of 3

It has been stuck on this now for over 4 hours (I've left the tab open). I tried refreshing but it keeps getting stuck and I really do not understand why.

- The vBulletin 5 files have been placed into a clean directory
- I am using the MySQL Database from my vBulletin 4 installation
- I have read the upgrade instructions and have followed all the required steps

If anyone can help me that would be great.

In the end I contacted vBulletin ticket support and they fixed it for me, thank you
