    Double Forward Slash Problem

    Hey guys,

I'm having a small issue with vBul 5.0 Connect. I just installed it and I noticed that every linkon my website goes to a double slash page.

    Example:

    http://www.example.com/ is my frontpage
    http://www.example.com//forum/ is my forum page

My base URL is set to http://www.example.com/core so I don't know what's wrong.

Thanks in advance for the help,
    Stefan

I had this and it was caused by a conflict in the .htaccess files, with something I put in to redirect non-www to www.

    Have you anything like that?

Try reuploading the.htaccess files from the default package and see if that cures it.

I'm using the standard .htaccess file. I was about to actually redirect to www but I don't think that'll fix it.

      EDIT: That didn't fix it.

Try downloading the package again from the members area and reuploading the .htaccess files, just to rule out any sort of corrupted information - I have had that kind of problem.

Ok...what do you have as the URL settings in the front end config file (the one in the forum root)?

Base URLs and System Paths are the bits we are interested in.

Alright, I'm an idiot. Sorry for wasting your time. Just took a look at the config file, and yeah, I made the obvious mistake. Apparently I can't read!

Not a problem, not a waste of time if your problem gets fixed as a result.

Thanks for letting us know it is sorted.
