I have a freshly upgraded vb5 and the Image Verification are not working properly. I'm testing the one on the forget password page. Every time I enter the characters from the image I get the following error:
"The string you entered for the image verification did not match what was displayed."
(I've actually get it to work 2 times out of about 35 tries, but I was careful to type the code correctly every time. Even though it worked 2 times, I never got the reset email. I checked spam folder too.)
Am I doing something wrong? Why doesn't this work?
two other problems:
1. When I select Question & Answer Verification... what next?
I don't see any options to add a question or anything. When I have this method selected and test it there is just nothing and I get an error every time.
2. How to use reCAPTCHA?
I tried using this method but it doesn't work either. It seems like it works with the following message:
"We have sent an email to your registered email address. You should receive it in the next few minutes. If you don't receive it, please check your junk mail folder or resend it again."
But when I check my email there is nothing (not in the spam folder either).
Any suggestions how to make these work?
