All links seem to be under core

When I finished installing the software I click on the admincp button and was sent to http://rchobbyiq.com/forum/admincp this did not work. I added core to the path and it works. http://rchobbyiq.com/forum/core/admincp

I made sure I have mod_rewrite enabled and that I have the .htaccess file at the root.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Please provide a proper URL to your website. Replacing it with mydomain.com doesn't benefit anyone.

http://www.mydomain.com/forum/index.php returns a 404 error which shouldn't use mod_rewrite. You're sure all files were uploaded properly and have the proper permission required by your server? Usually they need to be chmod 0644.

http://rchobbyiq.com/forum/index.php does not return a 404 but all other links from there do. Click on login or any other link from that page. If you then add core in the url the pages exist. For some reason I am not able to access pages like faq.php from the root http://rchobbyiq.com/forum/faq.php but rather http://rchobbyiq.com/forum/core/faq.php

It was returning a 404 when I posted that. That none of the links work means that mod_rewrite is not working on your site. You need to contact your hosting provider to determine why.
