    How do I make my forum look like this one?

    New user and my vb5 forum looks nothing like this one?

      This looks better then 5. Maybe I don't fully understand 5. What can I do to yield a result like this?

          What's the point of vb 5 then? I was under the impression 5 would be better then 4.2?

            vB5 is in beta stage and it is not recommended to run it on a life site. To get vB5 looking same as vB4 might be possible but won't be an easy task I guess.

              Look, is typically a personal preference.

              Some people preferred the vBulletin 2 colors and icons (mostly icons) to the vBulletin 3 icons.
              Some people preferred the vBulletin 3 colors/look/icons, to the vBulletin 4 look/style/icons
              Its pretty natural that some people will prefer vBulletin 4's look and feel, to vBulletin 5's.

                So to get the vb4 look I obviously have to use vb 4.2 and vb 5 is a move in a different direction?

                  No however to make it look as you may desire much customization could be required or perhaps some quick css overwrites in additional.css can yield a look you prefer .
