Two things actually. I uploaded a simple logo but it stopped appearing and just shows "logo". also I am unable to login to the admincp. I can login to the base just fine but admincp just shows "login/register" no matter if Im logged into the forum.

Did you upload it via SiteBuilder? If so, then it's a known bug http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-124 (presumably fixed in Beta 12 - which we don't have yet).
What url are you using to log into the ACP?I know violence isn't the answer . . . I got it wrong on purpose

Yeah, i uploaded via Sitebuilder. thanks for the bugtrack, helped a lot.
the error was config settings and my rewrite rules. everything else resolved itself via a fresh install.

I login and put it to remember me. I close the site, open it again, I am logged out. I click on the logo it logs me in. Here is the video:

I can't login onto AdminCP (/admincp/index.php) after installing v 5.3.0.
It was okay right after I installed vB and could login in but I can see the forum pages and login input window...
