Own vb5 installation | Unable to Log in

    Hi all -

Also posted this on the vb5 demo here: http://www.vbulletin.com/vb5demo/for...p-me-logged-in

When I try to log into my own demo installation [firefox 15] the following event is triggered when clicking on the 'Login or Signup' button [see attachment]. Effect: can't login to front-end but admincp seems fine.

    Help?

^^ And if so, what are the variables for this listed in your phpinfo page?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

            Thanks Lynne:

Found what I think should be the telling section in | Maintenance > PHP info: see attachment.

I couldn't find it in this list - or anywhere else for that matter. I'll take another look just to make sure I am not goofing here...

Right now, based on what I see in this section, I'd say 'no'...

Just attaching these screen shots as to give you full insight into settings - thought that would be most efficient/effective..

Hey - thanks heaps for your support! Appreciate it.

Make sure you don't have any spaces or hidden characters in the Presentation Config (/config.php) file. They can cause similar behavior as errors break the JSON responses.

p.s. you're not using mod_fcgid. You would be using mod_php.

When you created the config.php files, did you make sure to use a plain text editor? You may want to try recreating them and then try again.

                  Merjawy, Lynne, Wayne -

All good. Followed your instructions at first, then also checked my Cookie settings. Reverting from custom path did the trick in the end.

                  Cheers!
