Threads in node table

Threads in node table

Hi guys.

How can I know which entries in the node table correspond to Threads and not posts?

Is there any table exclusively for threads?

topics will have something other than *blank* (not NULL, but blank) in the node.title field and the node.parentid field will be the nodeid of a forum, not a topic. There is no table just for topics.
