Moderator Email Notification Problem

We have a relatively new installation of vBulletin 5.0. In addition to our regular forums, we have Staff Only and Admin Only forums. I can confirm that Staff cannot see the Admin forums, which is working as intended. However, they are receiving email notifications of every post to the Admin forums (which of course includes the post), which is breaching confidentiality for us.

I've been through all the settings and permissions and cannot figure out what is causing this. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Are they physically denied access via the channel permissions?

Thank you for replying! The usergroup "Moderators" in the channel permissions for the "Admin" channel are all set to NO. I hope that made sense.

Are the people affected moderators or super moderators?
