    Plenty issues after installing vB5

    Hi,

I "fight" with vB5 from several months.. There is plenty small, bit annoying things. Please help:

    1. Where can I enable "Require Threads to have a Prefix" in 4.2 it is in forum manager > Edit forum. In vB 5 there isn't that option.
    2. How can I hide sub-forums from main page?
    3. In 4.2 moderators have checkbox "close this thread". It need to check and then "reply" button to close thread. Is vB5 have option?
    4. In 4.2 when thread have more than one page, in list of threads are buttons with direct links to specific page.
    5. Is vB 5 have "icon legend" module?

I'm beginning to regret that I bought the latest version.

Sorry, none of these features are currently in vB5.
There are improvement requests for some of them, notably the "prefix required" option which is covered by VBV-2124

      4. Pagination at the bottom of threads should be in 5.1.3 when it is released. Currently Pagination is only at the top of the thread and should remain on screen at all times.

      5. As vBulletin 5 only has two icons at the present, a colored icon which means new content and an uncolored icon which means no new content, having such an icon isn't necessary. However you are free to make any kind of legends you want using HTML modules. When/If there are other indicators for content, we will look at adding legends natively.

        2. Set the Display Order for the forum to 0 under Channel Management > Channel Manager . Make sure to Clear System Cache afterwards.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

It's works, but when Display Order is set to 0, sub-forums do not show up at all. Even if I enter to forum.

There is no way round that I'm afraid.

Also, the pagination Wayne refers to is in threads themselves...if I've read your post correctly, you're referring to the very small pagination links in the lists of threads, when a thread has more than one page.

If so, this is definitely not in vB5 at this time, sorry.

It is very strange that VB5 does not have many useful options VB4.

              Tahnk you anyway.
