a few issues

After having to upload the file over 10 times, I finally got it to update. This happens with every update to version 5 not sure why.
But my issue is when I go to my site and type in the domain. saltgeeks.com it use to go to saltgeeks.com/forums.
Now it goes to http://saltgeeks.com/forums/?routest...com/index.html

I really wish I could just go to saltgeeks.com and have a frontpage like with version 4 but anyway. I can not find how to fix this redirect.
Thoughts?

Also I noticed I can not click login or Sign up, any thoughts on that.
I have ran the update several times just to make sure that did not fix the issue.

Check in cPanel of your hosting for any Redirect created, or in an .htaccess file using a FTP program like FilleZilla to check for redirect code.

I opened .htaccess and just re saved it to fix the issue. Not sure why that worked but it did.
