URL is adding in the word 'forum', how can I change this?

I have installed the newest version 5.1.2a and I have created a few forums, but the URL is adding the word 'forum' in so now it looks silly. How can I change/edit this?

    Example URL:

I figured it out, I was looking for a backend solution for this but it can be changed when saving the page (via 'Edit page' then Save)

You'll probably break stuff if you do that.

The /forum/ is entirely correct, it's the content type and forms part of the URL. It is appended to the folder you have installed the site in/

So you have the various content types:

      /forum
      /blogs
      /articles
      /social-groups

      Etc.

It is how the software is written and cannot currently be changed.

Well, i tryed to change it in the mysql "routenew" Table.

in Field "prefix" i deleted forum/ also in Field "regex" and it is working fine. I will see, if it is breaking other stuff.

For me it is important, because i comming from VB3.8 with VBSeo and i like to keep old URLs

I strongly advise against changing this sort of thing in the database. I can almost guarantee you'll run into problems somewhere, and it can be very difficult to "unpick" once that happens.

You won't get the same URLs as vBSEO anyhow, the structure, format and syntax are completely different.

You can change the names via the frontend just fine. Please don't go messing with the backend.
