Issue With Video Tags

Anyone had any issues with inserting videos with the [VIDEO] bb code. I have a forum I'm working on where everytime the video tag is used it prevents the page rendering. . You just get the grey background behind the forums here.

It also breaks the front page once the ' Recent Topics' block updates to include that thread.

I haven't seen this....you could try putting the site into debug mode and rebuilding the video bbcode.

We're having exactly the same problem.

The posting of videos (insert video icon) fails and hangs the thread altogether. (Grey Screen of death)
This then works its way on the the forum home page (activity stream) and any other pages where that thread/post is displayed.(more grey screens of death)

Only way round, without delving into the database, it is to delete the thread completely!!

I don't see why that was needed when its the same issue. Unless ofc its just so the many issues with vBulletin5 can be ignored easier when it doesn't turn into a multi page thread all describing the same issue

It gets really confusing trying to provide answers to multiple people in the same thread. Also, just because two people have similar issues, doesn't mean the same fix applies to both.
