Tagging posts made by others (bug?)

    vBulletin 5.1.0.

It doesn't seem like registered users can tag threads started by others, even though all permissions are set to allow this.

AdminCP -- Settings -- Options -- Tagging Options -- "Enable Topic Tagging" is set to "Yes"

AdminCP -- Usergroup Manager -- Regsistered Users (Edit) -- has the following settings related to Tags set:
    Maximum number of tags: 10
Maximum tags for Starter Post: 5
Maximum Tags by Other Users: 5
    Can Tag Own Topics: Yes
    Can Tag Others' Topics: Yes
Can Delete Tags on Own Topics: No
    Can Create Tags: Yes

AdminCP -- Channel Management -- Channel Permissions -- Home (Edit for Registered Users) -- has the following settings related to Tags set:
    Maximum number of tags: 10
Maximum tags for Starter Post: 5
Maximum Tags by Other Users: 5
    Can Tag Own Topics: Yes
    Can Tag Others' Topics: Yes
Can Delete Tags on Own Topics: No
    Can Moderate Tags: No

However, only when a user names a new post do they see an option to add tags. When they view a thread started by another registered user, there is nowhere to click to add tags, which is contrary to the vBulletin 5 documentation.

I have found the place to add tags; however, it requires editing the original post to have access to click the Tags+ link. My issue is that after adding tags and saving the tags are not sticking.

When you have added the tag you need to press enter straight afterwards, and before saving.

Mark -- you replied to the second post in this thread, but did you see the original post? Can you check and see if this is a bug or if the documentation is just wrong?

Seems like an oversight in the design. Will need a JIRA to expose the tag interface if the permission exists.

            Was this resolved?

I'm on the vBCloud with 5.1.5 and do not see the Tag interface as an admin while all permissions exist. Was there a JIRA ticket ever created?
