Vbulletin 5.0.5 users who don't use activation link in email immediatly get a bad url response

Dear all,

Im using 5.0.5 version. When i have a user registering at my forum they receive a registrering message in my language (dutch). However if that user waits a few days to click on the activation link to activate his account, he receives an incorrect URL message.

This problem does not occur if one takes action right after receiving the registering mail.

Does anybody have advice?

I believe the link should be active for up to 72 hours, after that it becomes invalid, we should likely handle this better. They should be able to request another email to verify.
