How do I disable blogs completely vb 5.0.5

Does anyone know how to completely disable blogs on vbulletin 5.0.5? I have decided to use wordpress for my blogs / news as the vbulletin blogs don't offer what I'm looking for nor are they currently indexed due to lack of support for XML or RSS in VB5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

AdminCP > Channel Management > Channel Permissions

Click deny all, on the blog channel.

BTW blogs have RSS out in 5.1.0
