Looking at the top of your Admin CP when you first sign in (under any News articles) what are the values reported for MySQL Version and MySQL Packet Size?

      This is your error:
      MySQL server has gone away

"MySQL Server has gone away" is a server issue. See this: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...mysql_goneaway and this: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...265#post310265 You will need to talk to your host about this in order to get it resolved.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

All your values seem well above minimum except PHP Memory Limit- I would suggest you up it from 64 M to 128 M and try again.

Do you have an email address setup in your /core/includes/config.php file to get copies of database errors? If not can you check your MySQL error log to see if its a database error and if so- post the text of the error.

OK, well that is pretty clear on the problem then. A Google search found this- http://forums.mysql.com/read.php?37,94800,94800 - One option that has helped some people is to disable result caching one of the replies talks about how to do that.

How many total attachments do you have?

Please let me know if you have any success. Looking at the query there may be a bug here as well I don't see why the query isn't limited by the number to process per cycle. I've raised a bug report here - http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-12268 - I am not sure if it will be accepted or come back as designed.
