    Install error from makeconfig.php

    ~Warning: file_put_contents() [function.file-put-contents]: Filename cannot be empty in /homepages/...forum/core/install/makeconfig.php on line 252

    New install, get this error after inputting database info

    I would suggest manually filling out the files if at all possible.

          There are instructions on how to install your forum here in the manual - https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...rsion=50005500 It will tell you how to manually fill out the config.php file.

              OK, so it works if I go to core/admincp but the instructions say not to got there.. this has to the be most confusing installtion I have ever done, worse than domino on a sun spark even.,..

                Yes, did you upload the htaccess?

                Editing the config.php file(s) is the same as it was in 4. 4 doesn't have the built in way to fill them out for you, that is the only real difference in the installation.

                  forum/admincp is a 404 page, forum/core/admincp works with css and all but its not supposed to? Then base page has no css racerc.org/forum/

                    ty for the hint,. I had to add Rewritebase /forum/

                    looks like that resolved 99% of my near head exploding issues
