Did you turn off your forum? I remember someone here a couple of months ago, who said that this caused the error and when the forums were turned back online, the error was gone.

If that isn't the case, maybe this helps you?

That is a server issue. You should show those errors to your host.

Put your site into debug mode...

Open /config.php and find the debug line near the bottom. Change false to true.

Open /core/includes/config.php and find the debug line near the bottom. Remove the // to uncomment that line.

Reload the page with the error. What does it say now?

I to am getting this error today

There is a serious error and the page cannot be rendered

everyone else can log in ok also I can log in to the admincp page ok as long as i go direct.
If i try to log in as admin from the front page or go to forum from the admincp I get the above error.
Site has been up for months with no errors so I cant see why it would be the server.
                      any ideas

I had the same problem on my forum.

                        Restart your SQL services.
                        This INSTANTLY resolved my issues.

Thanks Amreboot but I am on a shared web hosts who will not do this, I have found that it is all the admin accounts, I can not add any new admins from the AdminCP or change their password either.
Some help from VBulitin would be nice though
