    vb5 forwarding to wrong url

    Hello

I have just upgraded from vb4.2.1 to vb5.0.5.
My problem is that when I type my www.domain.com it sends me to www.domain.com/forum/core/.php and not ww.domain.com/forum/ Like it should.

My "Site Name / URL / Contact Details" are exactly the same as in vb4.2.1.

And also I did a "clean" upgrade where I didnt copy over the files from vb5 into vb4 folder, as recomended.

.htaccess should be correct, I never changed anything.

I am embarrest to say I have few years experience with vb4, but Im completely stuck here, I have nothing

Does anyone have any hints of what I could check?

If you left the same .htaccess, then it is definitely not correct. vB5 has totally different .htaccess. Please upload the .htaccess file that came with your vB5 files. Change the RewriteBase line if your files are in a directory.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

What I ment with that line was:
-I uploaded everything for vb5 in a new directory, and that of course inclue the new .htaccess

I have also tried to edit the .htaccess file and change RewriteBase to /forum/ - because my vb5 folder is in /www/forum.

        Still no change.

In .htaccess / index.php or in my forum settings i see nothing that would forward the url to .../core/?.php I dont understand where this is comming from.
