    Going back to vb4

    We are running vb 5.0.5, mysql versiob 5.1.70-cll, PHP Version 5.4.18. Our url is, http://www.realjdjboard.com

    What's the best way to go back to 4?

    Any help will be deeply appreciated!!

    You would need to have a database backup from before you upgraded to vB5 in order to go back to vB4.

      And you would lose any new posts and members created since you upgraded.

        We have the old database and are ok with losing posts. Just not sure exactly what the steps are to go back to vb4.

          Restore the database backup to its own new clean and empty database. Upload the vB4 files, and edit the configuration to use the new backup you restored.

            You are happy man - I also would like to downgrade to VB4, but I cannot - we have a lot of data in vb 5 version. We facing with so many problem in vb 5 specify with editor.

              If a downgrade is absolutely necessary for you, maybe you can import your vB5 to a different forum software and then import that installation back to vB4 again?

                  We put vb4 back, but now nothing is working... All we see is a blank, white screen.
