Earlier today the forums stopped working. Nothing was changed on it and it's running 5.0.4 (we tried to upgrade to 5.0.5 last week but that caused more instability).
There are no errors in the error_log, but looking at the access_log it was returning status code 200 for some requests and shortly after a status code of 500.
Now it doesn't even connect to the forums (no access or error log). Nothing on the server side has changed. It looks like it is timing out, but then the browser (Chrome) says "Server error".
What can be done to fix this? As far as we can tell, it just stopped working when just a few people were using it.
