Page layout messed up when installing vbulletin

    Hi,

I've recently installed vBulletin but the forum homepage is messed up. I viewed the source via the option in my browser and I think the problem is due to the css file directory being wrong. I checked my htaccess file and I didn't change anything there. Also, when going to my forums/admincp/ it gives a forbidden error on my server.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You either did not upload the access, you have other rewrite rules conflicting with ours, or your webserver is not respecting the htaccess file.

Assuming you're on apache, make sure your htaccess file is in the vBulletin folder
Second, make sure that you uncomment the RewriteBase setting, and set it to RewriteBase /support/
Lastly, double check with your webhost or system admin that it is possible for you to make mod_rewrite changes with htaccess

If you're on IIS, make sure your web.config is present, and secondly, that you're on IIS7 or newer.
