    Can't Save Navigation Bar

So I just upgraded from vb4 to 5.0.3.

I noticed the Today's Posts link is missing in the Navigation bar.

When I tried to add it to all usergroups, it gives me this error: "Error saving the navigation bar configuration. Please try again."

Now when I don't even change anything, I simple go to edit it, and just save it, I still get the error.

Meaning I simply click Navigation Bar (in site builder) then I hit Save. I don't have any hacks or mods active, in fact I have it disabled.

Is there anything I'm missing with my new install or is there some new setting I don't have set correctly in order to save it?

After messing around, this might be related to my admincp issue:

    UPDATE:

I moved some things, and resolved the admincp issue, and this issue still exists.

As I work through my issues one at a time, this problem is driving my members crazy because they can't see "Today's Posts".

When I try to edit the nav bar, as in the attachment, all I do is hit save (without making any change) and I get the error in the other attachment.

I looked in my error logs and don't see anything.

Here's the weird part, when I edit the nav bar, "Today's Posts" show up in the actual bar. When I cancel out of the edit, it goes away..

Any help or things I can check?

      Thanks in advance!

What version of PHP and what version of MySQL are on the server? Are all the files default and have you installed any modifications.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

          ~~PHP 5.3.25
          ~~MySQL Version 5.5.32

I thought that was an issue when I tried it a long time ago (tried it back in Jan on a test domain).

All the files are default. On my vb4, I had mods. On vB5, I installed one mod, but have it disabled.

My site had been acting weird the whole time since I upgraded though.

I've been chugging away at most of the issues. This one is key because it prevents me from seeing "Todays Posts". Which stinks.

I am able to edit pages, and everything on Site Builder.

I checked the logs and I can't see anything when I get the error. Is there another way I can find the error, and more info on it?

I've read about firebug, but couldn't figure out how to see any errors.

Have you tried deleting the item and then adding it back again?

Yes. I tried removing all the items in every bar, footer. etc.

I simple go to edit it, then save it (I don't make a change), it won't allow me to save it.

I remove everything in each bar group and still get the error.

Getting the same error here. Strange thing is that i modified the navigation bar a few days ago without any issues.

So now you can't edit any items in the navigation bar? What is showing up in your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host) when you try to edit it? And what is the exact error you get when trying to edit/save an item?

I also have this issue on YosemiteArea.com and would love to find a work around. My navigation titles are all messed up.

FWIW, after trying everything else I've found, clearing the system cache fixed it.
