    Double "forum" section in URL

    Hi

We have the vBulletin forum installed into the "forum" subdirectory of our site.

    Forums URLs look like http://example.com/forum/forum/blah-blah-blah

    Double "forum/forum" looks weird

Is there any simple solution to avoid such URLs?

    Thanks

Right now there isn't a simple solution, short of going though and editing each forums url.

The forum/forum thing is technically correct, it's just a quirk of how the URL shows if your site is installed at /forum.

In simple terms, you have Forums, Groups and Blogs.

        /forum/blogs
        /forum/social-groups
        /forum/forum

Easier to grasp if you imagine a site installed in a different directory:

        /board/blogs
        /board/social-groups
        /board/forum

Is this something that can be done through the admincp? Or is there another workaround that people have used (even if it's topical)?

Because of the same "problem" i've decided to change the install folder now. Is this possible? What i have to do?

EDIT: I change the folder name in config, php ( $config['baseurl'] ), renamed the folder and change the "Core URL" in admincp to the new folder name and it works!

EDIT2: Damned...does not work! Now i always get messages on login: Wrong username or password....
