Hi, I'm very new to vBulletin engine and I've seen earlier vBulletin forums with chat boxes in the front forum page, I've also seen them in vB 5 versions but I have no idea how to get them installed on mine. Anyone got any ideas how to get one installed?

Hello Mr Yates, I think what you are referring to is more to do with http://www.vbulletin.org. I am sure others will refer you to there.
Or maybe this http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...light=chat+box -

Hi DemOnstar thanks for the reply. I can't seem to register on that website, everytime I click complete registration I get redirected to the login form with no notification wether the registration was successful or not. I didn't get any email. Do you know anything about this? or know how to register?Comment

I registered a long time ago, I had the same issue as you but eventually I got in there. Can't remember exactly how, maybe persistence?
Do try again. Others succeed. Maybe it is someting to do with being a licensed customer? I take it that you do have a license?Comment

vBulletin.org is the place to download modifications such as chat boxes. You should be able to join. If you're not getting an email perhaps try using another email address or use the "Contact Us" link on the forum to ask for additional assistance.Comment

Is vBulletin.org somewhat affiliated with the official vBulletin group? or is it a third party? do I log in with my real vBulletin account or make a new one? Yes I have license for vB 5. I'll keep trying to register.Comment

You need to register and account on the site. You should use the same email associated with your vBulletin account and also check the box in your Members Priority area on vbullletin.com so that vbulletin.org is able to check your license status and they you should be able to download modifications over there.
vbulletin.org is run by volunteers (several who happen to also work for vBulletin) and the modifications are all third party modifications shared by the users.
Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.
