mp3s are larger files compared to images, are you sure your max file size is sufficient?

In Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Upload, upload the same file and see if you get any error.

This site wouldn't allow MP3s probably. You have to add allowed formats in Admin CP -> Attachments -> Attachment Manager. mp3 is not a default extension.

I did it, i was added mp3 extension in attachment manager, i also put mime format for this, but when in attachment management everything looks ok, i still cannot upload any mp3 to my forum.

I was tried it with different mp3 files and no success there.

Not 100% sure but i think it has been acknowledged as a bug http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-9515.

Would need to know the exact error you are getting.

Not related to upload issues people are talking about here.

You need to look at both your PHP and MYSQL Configurations. They will limit how much you can upload in a single file. Most PHP installations limit to 2 MB by default whereas MySQL limits to 1 MB by default. You can work around MySQL limitations by storing your attachments in the file system. With PHP, you'll need to adjust not only the max_upload size limitation but timeouts to account for larger sizes.

Its not possible for nothing to limit it. What is the current error you're getting when trying to upload?
