Forum not showing CSS correctly and several links are wrong after installation of 5.0.1

Admin CP is showing up here: http://www.drafttv.com/forums/core/admincp/ instead of http://www.drafttv.com/forums/admincp/ as I'm told it should...

Many links on the forums and in the admincp direct to a 404 page after not being found.

Installation:

On install it says it has connected to the database successfully. A quick check of the MySQL database shows the tables are all there.

A general settings pop up appears in which I enter

BB Title: Draft TV Forums
Location of core directory: http://drafttv.com/forums/core
webmaster email: my email

A cookie settings popup appears. I change nothing and hit "OK"

An Administrator Account Setup shows up and I enter a username, email, and password.

After that the install finishes with two links (back to install, and go to AdminCP). The AdminCP link goes to a 404 because it links to http://www.drafttv.com/forums/core/admincp/

I have tried installing it a few times. I have also created a new database, downloaded 5.0.1 again and used a new copy of the upload folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try adding this to your .htaccess file:

Find:

RewriteEngine On

Add underneath:

RewriteBase /forums/

adding rewrite base will fix your problem

Thank you so much! All the links now work, the admincp is in the right place, etc.

Unfortunately the css still isn't working:

I see in the source that it is trying to reference http://www.drafttv.com/forums/css.php?.... when it should be grabbing from http://www.drafttv.com/forums/core/css.php?....

Any easy fix for that?

Make sure your core url in admincp -> settings -> options -> site name / url / contact detail is: http://www.drafttv.com/forums/core

Exactly, no ending slash.

In the /config.php file also make sure your base url does not end in /.

In my /config.php file I have this:

Is that 2nd part not correct?

Just noticed, the login/signup button in the upper right corner opens a full page in a dropdown iframe and not a login.
