Test forum installation fail

    Hello

    I wanted to test vb5 and in order to do so I created a subdomain, I imported a recent database from my live forum, and proceed to follow the upgrade instructions. I even asked my host to upgrade php and mysql according to vb5 system requirements.

    I went to site.com/core/install/upgrade.php put my client id, and then this error:

    Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/hmexico/vblogs/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/vb5hm:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in/home/vb5hm/public_html/core/includes/functions_log_error.php on line 68

    Can you help me with this? The upgrade process cannot even start without sorting this.

    Thanks in advance

    I solved this

    In WHM I went to Security Center > PHP open_basedir tweak

    And excluded this protection in the account where the vb5 test site is
