F5 / Ctrl-R does not refresh current page

When we use F5 or Ctrl-R to refresh a thread we're currently in, we're experiencing some odd behavior. If we're on page 21 of a 21 page thread, and hit F5 or ctrl-R, instead of refreshing page 21 and keeping a user there, some users are reporting being take all the way back to page 1 while some users are reporting being taken to random pages like page 13. We've checked over the cacheing options and don't really see anything out of sort

Currently this is how vB5 works. There is a tracker entry to have this changed as it's more than a little frustrating.

Thanks Mark.. Is there a plan to put this in a patch or future release?

Won't be a patch....if it makes it in it'll be a future release. Currently under consideration for 5.0.2 but that's not a guarantee.

Ok thanks Mark. Bit confused as to all these changes... Hopefully the kinks get ironed out. If not is there a way to roll back to a prior version?

No the only way to roll back is to restore a previous backup.
