  • Uploaded new logo in site builder now forum will not load

I uploaded a PNG file 298x49 for a new logo in the header in site builder. After I saved it the main forum page will no longer load. Browser just stay blank.
    No erorrs at all.
Can still access AdminCP but cant get back into Site builder because forum will not load anymore.

I know Imagemagick was working since we could create new posts and upload images in them and they worked fine.

What went wrong and how can we fix it and get site builder to update the Logo?

    vb 5.4.4
    php: 7.0.31
    sql: 5.7.24
    ImageMagick 6.7.8-9

A bad logo shouldn't prevent the site from loading. HTML doesn't work that way.

However, in the AdminCP go to Styles -> Style Manager. For the Style that you're using select "Style Variable Editor". In the editor type "titleimage" in the search box for the Style Variable Editor. Click on titleimage in the left column to load the variable in the editor. Click the "Revert" link at the top. for the this Style Variable. If there is no Revert empty its value and save. This should delete the Logo.

    Does the site load now?

Well I did this and did the Revert. Now under titleimage the URL is back to the default: images/misc/vbulletin5_logo.png

But the main forum page will not load still

Any other ideas why the forum wont load when all I did was update the site logo?
So far upgrading from 4 to 5 has been really been frustrating for us.

What you're describing is not normal operation. Nor do I know what "doesn't load" actually means. Need a link to the site where the problem is so I can look and see if the issue can be determined.

Not loading mean nothing happens when We go to the URL that was working for days up until I uploaded the site logo file.
There are no error no nothing.
The forum is on internal servers behind our corporate firewall while we are migrating to version 5 and setting it up. then when it ready we would move it over to production servers for our customers to access. So there no way from the outside world to get to it right now.
Here is a screen capture of what I mean buy noting loads so you can see what I mean.

Blank pages typically mean there is a PHP error. What does your PHP Error Log say? Or since it is a development server you should turn "display_errors" on in the php.ini file.
