    finding new members

Is there a way to get our forum to come up on the search engines when people search for photography forums?
Our forum is called Australian Photoholics.

Content, content, content... Search engines love content that's updated regularly so make sure you keep adding content there.

Additionally, make sure search engines are aware of your site and spidering it via their Webmaster (or equivalent) tools. Use the built in sitemap submission tools in AdminCP > Settings > Options to do this - and have content posted regularly so the Scheduled Task runs to update them!

    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

In addition to the above, make sure that ---

      1. Each of your forums has a custom meta description. Edit the forum page and save it in Site Builder to update this.

      2. Submit your XML Sitemap to all search engines. You can generate this in the AdminCP under XML SiteMap.

      3. Advertise your site via Social Media or low cost volume ad campaigns i.e. Adwords or Facebook Ads. This will attract people. The more people you have, the more content and content sharing that will occur.
