how to move attachment ?

    how to move attachment ?

    been try to move attachment from database to file system
    the web folder and the attachment folder as permission 0777

    i get this error

    We attempted to write a test file to /web/attachment, but we were unsuccessful. Please verify that the web server has write/delete permissions for this path.

    can somebody help to solve

    If the directory is chmod 0777, then the most common cause is that the web server user cannot see the folder because it belongs to a different user. This is often the case when you're using a tool like phpSuExec. This is another layer of security. You need to talk to your hosting provider or server administrator to make sure the web server user has full access to the directory.

      hi all

      thankyou for your patience did solve the attachment problem the error was getting did put the wrong path now is ok

      got another question would like to know now the attachment they are on the file system if member upload attachment they would go automatically in files system

      or every week i have manually transferee

      in file system?

        Once you have moved attachments to the file system using the admincp setting, that's where they will all go in the future unless you change the setting back.
