2 questions please... Info concerning the robots.txt file or the 404 Error Page for vBulletin 5.

    Hello Everybody,

I haven't been around in a while. So I'm having a hard time finding any info that I'm happy
with concerning the use of robots.txt file or the 404 Error Page for vBulletin 5. What am I missing?

    We don't provide either a robots.txt or a 404 error page.

You can set up the system to redirect 404s to the vBulletin Home Page but this is actually a poor user experience. A better option would be to update the phrase invalid_page_url in order to provide the information you want to provide. You can use HTML in phrases.

A robots.txt file is very personal so you would have to create your own. Just disallow the URLs you want to do so.
