VB Messenger Queries.

Hi VBTeam,

For my community VB Messenger is an amazing feature. Members are very happy. But there are certain issues bothering us a lot. Can you please answer my below queries ?

1. On Phone browser how does one get know the username of others in group conversation ? On PC we can hold mouse pointer for about a second and it shows the username. Can't we have a simple way usrname written beside their profile pic ?
2. Under “Messages” I can see only 6 conversations shows on top and then “Go to Message Center”. How do we open other private message on separate chat window ?
   With "messageid=123456" though we can get the old private message on a chat windows but is there any other convenient way ???
3. Can members be removed/added from a group conversation ? Or can members quit the group themselves from any existing conversation ?
4. For every new chat members are getting email notification. This is annoying to many. Is there any better way to notify members other than sending email for each text ?

I appreciate that vbulletin introduces this new product. But confused about don't you test your product before releasing ? There is no proper documentation where you explain ins and outs about vb messenger. Does vbulletin not understand a forum members need ???

1) The username should be written next to their avatar. Can you provide screenshots of what you're seeing along with the details on the device and browser?

2) It only shows the latest six messages at this time. Replying to any private message thread should make it the most current and show for opening. You can do that in the Message Center like always. The product was tested. Not all functionality was determined to be necessary for the first iteration of the feature. Additional functionality is being added.

While chatting with members Its difficult to understand if the username is not written. Please see the below image.

The names are written across the top with the user's avatar. Most people become known by their avatars as well as their names. What you're asking for is not part of the original design and you'll need to create a JIRA.

The avatar size is so tiny on phone that its very difficult who is who. And in a long conversation scrolling all the way up just to see the username, don't you think its annoying ???
